Didn't we tell you that, if you want to travel light, or even light-ish, you must make peace with wearing the same item of clothing more than once on your trip? Well, if you didn't believe us, believe this: Vogue editor Anna Wintour has been spotted in the same dress not once, not twice, but THREE times on a recent European blitz.
She must really love this dress. But can you blame her? The red, white, and blue number by Carolina Herrera is elegant, summery, AND perfect for July 4th (yes, we know Anna's English really, but don't quibble). Its first outing was at the Salvatore Ferragamo show in Milan. Then she wore it to watch the tennis at Wimbledon, and a couple of days later, she slipped it on again for the Chanel couture show in Paris. Wow -- that dress is really seeing the world.
We totally get that a lean, mean editing machine like Anna would want to pack light. But wait -- doesn't she have people to carry her stuff for her? I mean, we're sure Meryl Streep did in "The Devil Wears Prada." Or perhaps the style queen, who famously never changes her hair, has decided to apply the same principle to clothes. Either way, we'll take any excuse to do laundry less often.
How often would you wear the same outfit in one week?
